Saturday, Sept. 9 Free Grass Seminar

Have you ever seen a row of tall, ornamental grasses swaying gently in the breeze? It looks so beautiful and can be so calming. And, there are so many varieties of grass from which you can choose.

Ornamental grasses are easy to plant, easy to maintain, and they can enhance your landscape year-round. Even in winter, if you haven't trimmed them before snow fall, some look like stalks of wheat shooting through a white blanket, casting long, strong shadows on the snow.

Tomorrow, Saturday morning, landscape designer Owen Wormser highlights some of the best native grasses available, and instructs how to use them in the landscape.
