Saturday, Sept. 9 Free Grass Seminar

Have you ever seen a row of tall, ornamental grasses swaying gently in the breeze? It looks so beautiful and can be so calming. And, there are so many varieties of grass from which you can choose.

Ornamental grasses are easy to plant, easy to maintain, and they can enhance your landscape year-round. Even in winter, if you haven't trimmed them before snow fall, some look like stalks of wheat shooting through a white blanket, casting long, strong shadows on the snow.

Tomorrow, Saturday morning, landscape designer Owen Wormser highlights some of the best native grasses available, and instructs how to use them in the landscape.

Here are the details:
128 North Street, Whately, MA,
Saturday, 11am and 1pm

Visit Nasami Farm Native Plant Nursery and learn from the pros. Free lectures and demonstrations are held on Saturdays in September during fall sales days. No preregistration is required. What's your favorite grass -- and I don't mean the kind you smoke.
