Green Toe, A Shoe In

As some of you may know, I have a Big Thing for shoes. I have shoes from 20 years ago that I still wear. Not every day, of course, but if they're designed and manufactured well enough, they really hold up if worn solely "on special occasions."

Aside from style and seasonal needs, my purchases today are oftentimes decided upon by how items are manufactured. Here's a footwear company that's concerned about it's ecological footprint...offering styles for both men and women, and free shipping with orders of $75 or more. The loafers pictured here are about $80. Green Toe has some cool, casual styles, and more than one toe in the green landscape -- they also sell "gear." simpleshoes.com for more. /m
